Directions for Use:

Cattle (Beef and Dairy):

For the removal and control of lung-worms, barber-pole worms, brown stomach worms, small stomach worms, hookworms, intestinal worms, bankrupt worms and nodular worms.
Feeding directions for 1,000 lb body weight: 1 lb in a one day treatment. Retreatment may be needed after 4-6 weeks. 13 day slaughter withdrawal; no milk withdrawal.

Equine:

For the removal and control of large strongyles, small strongyles, pin-worms and ascarids.
Feeding directions for 1,000 lb body weight: For strongyles and pin-worms - 1 lb in a one day treatment. For ascarids - 2 lb in a one day treatment. Re-treatment may be needed after 6-8 weeks.

Swine (growing pigs, gilts, pregnant sows and boars):

For the removal and control of lung-worms, gastrointestinal worms, large roundworms, nodular worms, small stomach worms, whip-worms and kidney worms.
Feeding directions for 200 lb body weight: 1.92 oz daily for 3 days. No slaughter withdrawal.

Active Ingredient:

• Fenbendazole:

  This is the primary drug that effectively kills a variety of internal parasites in livestock, including lungworms, stomach worms, and intestinal worms. 

• Concentration:

  Safe-Guard 1lb products typically contain 0.5% fenbendazole (2.27 grams/lb), according to Jeffers Pet. 

Inactive Ingredients:

• Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal: Provides palatability and can enhance the feed.
• Processed Grain By-Products: Can add to the nutritional value and make the product more palatable.
• Roughage Products: These can help with the texture and palatability of the product.
• Calcium Carbonate: May help with mineral balance.
• Molasses Products: Can improve palatability and provide energy.
• Vegetable Oil: Can help with mixing and processing.
• Propionic Acid (Preservative): Helps to maintain product quality and shelf life.
