Unrivaled Puppy + Active Adult food is carefully formulated to meet the complete nutritional requirements of both puppies and adult dogs across all life stages.

For puppies between 3 and 6 weeks old that are transitioning from nursing to solid food, it is recommended to soften Unrivaled Puppy + Active Adult kibble by mixing one part dry food with three parts warm water and allowing it to soak for 10–15 minutes prior to feeding. Gradually decrease the water content as the puppies grow and adjust to dry food.

For pregnant females, feed the amount needed to maintain ideal body condition.

Lactating females typically require about twice their normal food intake during the first two weeks of nursing, increasing to three times their regular amount from the third week on. Exact feeding rate should be adjusted depending on litter size and the mother’s body condition.

Transitioning Recommendation

Transitioning your dog to an Unrivaled food is best done gradually over 10 days to keep their digestion on track and avoid any digestive upset. Start with 25% Unrivaled and 75% of their current food for days 1–3, move to a 50/50 mix for days 4–6, then 75% Unrivaled for days 7–9, and finish with 100% Unrivaled on day 10. Throughout the process, stick to your regular feeding routine, monitor your pet’s behavior and appetite, and consult your veterinarian if you notice any issues.
